Healing Touch is a relaxing, nurturing, energy therapy that uses gentle touch to assist in balancing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and well-being. It is safe for all ages and works in harmony with standard medical care to support our innate ability to heal. Recognized throughout the world since 1993, certification has been awarded for over 300 Certified Healing Touch Instructors and almost 3,100 Certified Healing Touch Practitioners in 21 countries.
Liz is a Scientist at Mount Sinai Hospital and a Certified Holistic Practitioner. By applying her breadth and depth of knowledge to her Holistic work Liz is able to bridge the gap between science and energy modalities, providing her clients with the knowledge of a seasoned medical professional with the warmth and compassion of a Healing Touch Practitioner.
Healing Touch is a holistic energy therapy that emphasizes compassionate, heart-centered care facilitating the restoration of balance linking mind, body, emotion and spirit for the highest good. Through gentle, non-invasive touch Liz and her client’s are equal partners in promoting optimal health and healing. After a session, clients can expect to feel a deep sense of relaxation and tranquility.
Healing Touch complements and is used in collaboration with conventional health care. Clients stay fully clothed and can choose to sit up in a chair or lay down on a massage table during the session. The session typically lasts 40 to 60 minutes. Regular sessions are recommended, as the effects of Healing Touch tend to be cumulative.
Liz has helped many individuals with the application of Healing Touch. Her work has been used to support the healing of those individuals struggling with stress management, body/back pain, arthritis, headaches, anxiety, depression, PMS, rehab after surgery and cancer care.
As a complement to Healing Touch, Liz also practices Reiki and Therapeutic Touch, which have contributed to her breadth and depth of knowledge. Healing Touch, Reiki, and Therapeutic Touch sessions are all available upon request.
